Kokolada Packaging

The unit introduced students to the principles of packaging design and develops research, conceptual and implementation abilities. We were asked to use industry resources to enhance knowledge of technical, material and marketing information. 
The unit also introduced the importance of an integrated approach to branding and visual communication as well as the various structural and production aspects of packaging design. The economic, environmental and sustainability components of the package design project are also investigated.
The brief asked us to exploit the potential of a carton board box for packaging and communication. The project was to be started from scratch, meaning we had to develop our own name, visual identity, and story.
