Milk Bar Brand Identity
A branding project completed at University in which the brief asked us to develop a logo and identity/personality for a fictional company of our choice. The result was Milk bar.
Milk Bar is a fictional bar that also serves coffee. I decided to not only reflect this through a logo or icon, but through the name as well. Although Milk Bar's are commonly known for being small, convenience stores that sell snacks as well as refreshments, I found this as a great opportunity to take advantage of that name, which was different, and use it for my concept.
The icon/logo I developed also tries to reflect the bar's identity. One thing that alcohol and coffee have in common is froth. I decided to use that to create a couple of bubbles and wield it into my icon, combining it with sheared text and a brown colour palette, it resulted in something that looked a little retro, indie, and fresh.
